Been a little busy with work, but I finally got a chance to make a few more #nosilence images.\u00a0I’ll be posting them on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Twitter<\/a>\u00a0later on, but you get to see them first here.<\/p>\n

This first one describes the pressure I felt to not say anything about my abuse. My abuser even manipulated my family to get them to pressure me to stay and work on the marriage. \u00a0I didn’t know who to talk to. \u00a0I didn’t know any other male that had ever been abused. I thought it was just me.<\/p>\n

Like I’ve said before, not all scars are visible. \u00a0A broken bone will heal, relatively quickly, but a broken sense of self worth can take a very very long time to heal, if ever. I may look healthy on the outside, but inside I have scars. \u00a0Some will probably be with me for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n

\"Can't<\/p>\n

A lot of people think abuse is physical, and since me are bigger and stronger than most women, they come to the incorrect conclusion that men can’t be abused. I assure you, you can most definitely be abused without being physically beaten. \u00a0Just because she didn’t hit me, doesn’t mean she didn’t abuse me.<\/p>\n
