My individual counselor was awesome. She helped me so much, it&#8217;s impossible for me to thank her enough. This site&#8217;s name is based on a gift that she gave me and a reminder to myself, that I am worthy.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The mission of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hopesdoorinc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hope&#8217;s Door<\/a> is to offer intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and to provide education programs that enhance the community&#8217;s capacity to respond.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hopesdoorinc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hope&#8217;s Door<\/a> is an organization in Collin County specializing in comprehensive intervention and prevention services for all members of a family affected by domestic violence &#8211; from victim to abuser. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hopesdoorinc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hope&#8217;s Door<\/a> was established in 1986 as a crisis hotline. Clients were housed in local hotels until the opening of a 21-bed emergency shelter in 1989.
